Over the past few months, I partnered with Certified Core Energetics Practitioner and Money Witch Bryn Bamber to host a series of three workshops designed to help women entrepreneurs shift their relationship with money, make strategic financial decisions, and feel more confident about investing in their business.
We’re now giving away access to the recordings for free!
The workshops came out of a conversation, where we shared some of the issues that we saw our clients struggling with around money.
We saw them holding back from making important investments in their businesses due to fear, old money blocks and a “personal finance paradigm” which stops them from spending the money needed to grow their businesses.
Money is THE biggest stressor in entrepreneurship—especially for those who are transitioning from employee to CEO of their own business.
It’s very unsettling to spend money on your business when you’re new at this game and used to making sure you responsibly make ends meet each month. Business is a very different beast!
These workshops are designed to help you:
- Understand how business finances are different from personal finances.
- Identify and let go of old money blocks.
- Plan and make investments in your business with confidence.
All in all, it’s about you making more money in your business and feeling great about it!
Below is a summary of all three workshops, and for free access to all the recordings, sign up below!
1. Think Like a CEO: Understanding Business Finances
In this session, we explored how financial planning for a business is different from managing personal finances. When you’re used to a regular paycheck, the idea of investing in growth—before the revenue is there—can feel risky.
But successful CEOs don’t just save money; they use money as a tool to grow their business strategically. That means:
- Shifting from a scarcity mindset to an investment mindset
- Understanding risk vs. reward in business spending
- Making financial decisions based on long-term growth, not short-term fear
In this workshop, I share my personal story of visiting the brand new state-of-the-art Tim Horton’s in Saskatoon decades ago when I was about $80k in debt from opening a new store. I had a major epiphany about business finances right then and there, while waiting in line for my bagel.
2. Manifesting Wealth: Healing Money Wounds
So many of our beliefs and patterns around money are shaped by childhood beliefs. In this workshop, we dug into the subconscious money wounds that keep us stuck in cycles of fear, undercharging, or avoiding financial decisions.
Bryn leads this workshop which focuses on how our emotions are held in the body. We learn to suppress our feelings instead of becoming aware of them.
We also absorb money beliefs from our family growing up, and these beliefs can be so strong they feel like fact and hold us back.
You’ll discover your own money beliefs and see which ones are holding you back in ways you probably don’t even realize.
3. Plan Like a CEO: Setting Goals & Making Strategic Investments
In the final session, we put everything together and created a 2025 vision for our businesses. Use this planning workshop anytime- no need to wait for a new year or even a new quarter.
I led the group in a simple business analysis that helps you see what your business priorities are. Then we worked on what to invest our money and time in to move us towards our goals.
Instead of letting fear drive financial choices, we practiced aligning our spending with our vision. That means planning for:
✅ Investments in our businesses
✅ Tools and systems that free up time
✅ Marketing efforts that actually bring in leads
For me, this session was a great reminder that failing to plan is planning to fail—but plans only work if we commit to taking action!
I’ve certainly learned a lot from these workshops! I hope you’ll sign up to get them right in your inbox for free today!
